The Sweet Vale of Avoca Museum is now in the
off-season. That means the Museum
will only be open the third Sunday of each month
between the hours of 1:00 and 4:00 p.m.
when volunteer help is available.
Newtown/Avoca Historical Society
will meet Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, at
the Sweet Vale of Avoca Museum at 6:00 p.m.
This will be our Christmas catered meal, so plan to attend.

Looking for something special to see at the Museum this month? A collection of Holiday Barbie's belonging to Barbara Butcher are on display for your viewing pleasure. Along with the dolls are the complete set of Christmas balls sold by the Historical Society in earlier years. You won't want to miss this display!! We'll be open from 1 to 4 p.m.
